What We Do

Our Behavioral Health  Professionals (BHP's)  provide personalized treatment plans to help children and families achieve their  goals. Our primary focus is creating sustainable lifestyle changes, not quick fixes.

Socialization and Learning

We help children learn and develop social skills and behaviors necessary to live with and interact with others in their home and in the community.

Encourage Challenges

We challenge children and their families to stretch the knowledge in order to further their skills.

Specialized Care

At New Moon Behavioral Health , we utilize a strength-based approach which allows individuals to become contributing members in their families and the community where they reside. Treatment plans are individualized to allow clients to improve functional abilities.
We provide services that are specifically designed to increase functional and cognitive abilities in the areas of communication, socialization, daily living, and safety skills.

Social Awareness

We work with families and children to improve self-awareness, environmental awareness, social appropriateness and social integration. We help with building and maintaining relationships with others in the community and in their homes.

Community Resources

We educate our clients on the variety of community resources that could be available to them and how to use these resources appropriately by having open communication with other members of the treatment team (Ex. Case managers).
